INTRODUCTION:
Did you know that one of the most
valued and sought after saltwater aquarium fish were
baby sharks? This is because if you place a baby shark
in a small (100 gallon) aquarium it will stay small,
usually less than a foot long. The same shark in the
ocean may be 12 feet long!
I love this fact because in life
we have all created our own aquarium, most call it
our box. Our box is also our Comfort Zone with which
we view the world. Everything outside of our box is
the things that we fear and avoid. If everything inside
our box is our comfort zone, then everything outside
of the box of our world would be our Uncomfortable
Zone.
New Living Translation, the verse
says:
You have always put a protection
around him and his home and his property. You have
made him prosper in everything he does.
Father, in the name of Jesus, we
lift up to you and pray a hedge of protection around
my husband/wife. We thank you, Father, that you are
a wall of fire around us and that you set Your angels
around, in Jesus name.
I bind the power of negative words
from others, and I bind and render useless all prayers
not inspired by the Holy Spirit; whether psychic,
soul force, witchcraft or counterfeit tongues that
have been prayed against me.
I am God's child. I resist the devil.
No weapon formed against me shall prosper. I put on
the whole armor of God. I take authority over this
day, in Jesus name. Let it be prosperous for me, let
me walk in your love, Lord. The Holy Spirit leads
and guides me today, I discern between the righteousness
and the wicked.
I take authority over Satan and all his demons, and
those people who are influenced by them. I declare
Satan is under my feet and remain there all day. I
am the righteous of God in Christ Jesus.
I am God's property. Satan you are bound from my family,
my mind, my body, my home and my finances.
The story of Job begins with a description
of a man who owns greater riches and has ten children,
but all of that was about to change, because of a
conversation that took place in heaven, between God
and Satan that we find in Job.
I want to focus on the statement
Satan made in verse 10th Satan observed God had built
a hedge of protection around job. Based upon that
observation, I want to talk about being “surrounded
by God hedge of protection”
I want us to notice a couple of things
about this divine hedge of protection
First we are constantly under His
surveillance. God hedge of protection around His children
is part of God’s promise and can only be removed
by God’s permission.
There is a hedge around every believer,
and Satan can not touch you unless God permits it
and if God permits it, it will be for His purpose
and His purpose alone.
Psalmist says in 91:1-16 His faithfulness
will be your shield and your rampart—if you
make the most high your dwelling –even the Lord
who is refuge –then no harm will befall you,
no disaster will come near your tent. For He will
command His angels concerning you to guard you in
all your ways, Amen.
God’s hedge is not a hedge
of stones, or a hedge of plants, or hedge made by
men it’s a hedge of angels.
