We visit a doctor for check-up. The doctor will do some diagnostic test, like blood test, vital signs, urine and all kinds of test. But all these things will be useless if we don’t pay attention and apply what the doctors say.

The bible is our road map or blueprint for every situation we may ever encounter. The book proverbs say’s a good man leaves an inheritance or moral stability and goodness to his children’s children, and the wealth of the sinner finds its way eventually into the hands of the righteous, for which it was laid up.

Living righteously activates the blessings of God; righteous living activates peace in our hearts. A man of two minds or hesitating, dubious, irresolute he is unstable and unreliable and uncertain about everything he thinks, feels, decides.

Deuteronomy 4:40
A legacy of blessing, a righteous living guaranteed life. Therefore you keep His statutes and commandments, which I commanded you this day, that it may go well with you and your children after you and that you may prolong your days in the land which the Lord your God gives you forever.

The flip side of the righteous living is unrighteousness or unfaithful: the word Maveth in Hebrew means violence, pestilence, ruins. If you live in unrighteous living you are inviting violence, pestilence and ruins in your life and you passed it on to your children’s children.

Proverbs 11: 19
He who is steadfast in righteousness or uprightness and right standing with God attains life, but he who pursues evil does it to his own death.
For the sake of our righteous living God will deliver our children from destruction. God will bless your children for your sake, because of right standing with God.

Proverbs 11:22
As a ring of gold in a swine’s snout, so is a fair woman who is with out discretion. Snout in Hebrew is Taam meaning no intelligent lack of judgment over and over again you

Whatever we do in God’s kingdom you are passing that spirit to your children after you. The bible said when you give to the poor, it is like lending to the Lord, and the Lord will pay you back. We need to attempt big things for God then expect great things from God.

The bible hath said bring all the tithes or the whole tenth of your income into the storehouse, that there may be food in My house, and prove Me now by it, says the Lord of hosts, if I will not open the windows of heaven for you and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it. We missed the great blessing of God when we miss these.

We pass those unrighteous living to our children up to third and fourth generation. You are cursed with the curse, for you are robbing something that belongs to God Almighty. He who covers his transgressions will not prosper, but whosoever confesses and forsaken his sins will obtain mercy.

Let us pronounce blessing to our children and build a hedge of protection upon their lives by setting a righteous living with God.
