God said let us make man in our image, after our likeness…. When man fall into the trap of Satan, they lost the very likeness of God. The likeness of God wasn’t there anymore, they expelled from the Garden of Eden. Yet the Bible provides us with a unique kind of “mirror” which reveals us the nature and interrelationship, and shows us how each is intended to function. Failure In the initial creation of man God said.

Let Us make man in our image, and according to Our likeness, Image refers to man’s outward appearance. In a way that is not true of any other creature, man reflects the outward appearance of God.

Therefore, when the Son of God came to dwell on earth, it was in the form of a man not a cow and not even in the form of some heavenly creature, such as a seraphim. Likeness refers to man’s inner nature.

Scripture refers to God has a three manifestations being, Father, son and the Holy Spirit. Likewise it reveals man as a three manifestations being, consisting of spirit, soul and body. 1 Timothy 3:16

The account of man’s creation reveals how his manifestations nature came into being: “And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living being”—more correctly, a living soul.

In John 7:37-39
Retrieving His likeness needs spiritual discipline. Jesus said, is about digging out a well if you want back His likeness.

God wants to dig into us, removing the dirt and things that cover up, the living water (likeness)
He has put within us. There are things that He must remove, opposition attaches to what we don’t remove.

Car needs good tires on the road, it needs good headlights during night time, needs horn when you needed help, and it needs gas, you need the Holy Spirit to make us going.

In some countries you can be powerful if you supply water, people will admire you. The same thing with God, if you are full of His likeness, people will admire God through your life. Water is life, you (are) stink if you don’t have water, no quality of life.

You need to maintain His likeness. The Holy Spirit will develop your inner man, you are always refreshed. Your spiritual body, don’t get tired, not beaten down, defeated or dried out.

We are prone to depression and downcast with negative mindset. That is why you need this water of His likeness.

Our prayer, worship and thanksgiving retrieving His likeness, Is that wonderful?
Jesus said I am the way of your need. John 14:6

If you have problem rejoice. Why? Because that is your opportunity to partake His likeness
Don’t be dehydrated with your situation. Take out the negative don’t live in the shadow of your past. Look for the future. Love instead of fear, gladness instead mourning.

His likeness create life inside of you, His presence will make you laugh, cry and think. His presence is your companion. Amen
