JCMI Children’s Ministry Mission Statement

Our Children’s Ministry is rooted firmly in the home and family, supported by the church and strengthened in the class to enable each child to develop, train, motivate, encourage and grow in a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

JCMI Kids Ministry Vision:

We are a community of Christ followers committed to:

G = Grow Growing spiritually in our relationship with Christ.
R = Reach By inviting others to church and serving others.
A = Act out of our commitment through giving and applying what is learned.
C = Connect Building relationships/friendships through community.
E = Exalt God with Worship & Prayer Time.

Because we ourselves are committed to Jesus Christ, we strive to help our children also know what it means to love and serve the Lord as fully devoted followers of Christ.

K = Keep having fun while learning about Jesus
I = Invest our time and love into the kids and parents
D = Devoted to doing our best in all that we do.
S = Smile to brighten someone’s day.

We want our children to have a faith that is built on the Word of God.
We help our children learn about having a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
We do this through Music, drama, teaching, interaction through small group involvement
and personal contact with other believers showing the love of God to them.

We want to seal in the hearts of our kids that they can:
Trust in the LORD with all their heart, and lean not on their own understanding, in all of their ways acknowledge Him, and He will make their paths straight. (Proverb 3:5-6)
